Starting with an excel file
It all started with two business partners and an already substantial startup investment portfolio. When Johannis faced the challenge to continuously track more than 20 portfolio companies in an excel sheet, he searched for an adequate solution to make his life easier. However, he couldn't find anything with angels in mind.
As a lot of angels invest quite a fortune into startups, there has to be a way to track that invested capital - just like tracking a stock depot.

Making investing easier for business angels
Johannis and Hendryk started re-think reporting for angels and created a tool from scratch that would help Johannis to keep track of his startup portfolio. The end result was too good to be kept private - we thought. The outcome is AngelReporting.
Our main goal is to make investing in startups easier and more attractive for angels and other private investors. By enabling founders to efficiently use a central communication channel for all of their angels, we want to save both parties time and hustle.
Connecting privat investors and boosting early stage investment
Our vision goes far beyond just individual reporting for angels. By experiencing many problems of being an angel first hand - we want to further connect private early stage investors.
By leveraging synergies in the untapped market of early stage investments we want to it easier to invest for angels. Ever thought of including and sharing an expert for a quick due dilligence with your peer group of angels with just one click? That is where we are heading.

We share our problem solver with you.
